Description:
One of the tenets of RTI is making decisions based on actual analysis of real data, not just acting on a ‘hunch.’ That’s not to say your hunch is not often true, but it’s much more reassuring and convincing when it’s backed by real data. When it comes to deciding on the best intervention strategies, making data-based decisions is key.
In this session, we will explore examples of data collection tools currently in use by schools. You will get an introduction to helpful technology tools for the collection, easy analysis and collaborative communication of your data. There will be both discussion of concept development as well as hands-on practice with the tools we explore.
Come with your plans and ideas, a computer (tablets WILL NOT work) and walk away ready to implement your own customized data systems.
