Mr. Hobbs

Hi, I'm Mr. Hobbs! I graduated from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa in 2017 with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. This is my sixth year at West Marshall, and I've really enjoyed my time teaching and coaching here. I currently live in Ames with my wife Alexis. 

I graduated from North Iowa High School in Buffalo Center in 2013. My mom was a reading teacher at North Iowa, and my dad is a farmer/ former basketball official. They can receive the credit for giving  me my love of teaching and basketball. I have two sisters and one brother. My sisters are twins, Krista and Kaylan. They are 32 years old. My little brother, Kade, is 22 and is a senior at Waldorf University.
