What is OneDrive? OneDrive is the name of Microsoft’s cloud services. The same way Google has Google Drive and Apple has iCloud, Microsoft provides OneDrive for people to store and exchange data online. If you are a Microsoft user, you can access it at any time from the OneDrive website.

As cloud services have grown, OneDrive has adopted more and more functionality. The version you see today is a network of several services, which means using OneDrive can be confusing to newcomers. To help you make sense of it all, let’s begin by breaking OneDrive out into two main components.
