Casting Policy

CLICK THE ARROW FOR MORE INFORMATION

Casting and participation in Stars & Stripes Theatre productions is dependent upon attendance and the adherence to all policies (grades, behavior, etc.) outlined in the Student Handbook. Students must maintain a G average to participate in the play and that they can be removed at any time if their grade falls below.

Also, please let the production team know if there are schedule conflicts as soon as possible. Students are expected to attend all rehearsals they are called for unless prior approval has been given. Failure to do so can result in dismissal from the show.

All final casting decisions are made by Ms. Baldwin, the Director of Stars & Stripes Theatre. If you have any questions please contact her directly. bbaldwin@waldronmercy.org

Rehearsal Policy

In order for the students to have a successful rehearsal experience, the rehearsals need to be uninterrupted and therefore are closed rehearsals. In an emergency please contact the production’s Parent Liaison. If the Parent Liaison is not available then contact the Director.

Please let the production team know if there are schedule conflicts as soon as possible. Students are expected to attend all rehearsals they are called for unless prior approval has been given. Failure to do so can result in dismissal from the show.

If a cast member is absent from a rehearsal within ten (10) days of the performance dates, he or she will not be performing in the show. Attending rehearsals is critical to his or her, and others self-confidence on stage. Absences will jeopardize the cast member’s participation in the show.

We work around the 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade We Not Me practices/games as much as possible. Please realize this is an Ensemble show so the entire cast are on stage all the time and are in every song. We will work on songs/scenes that your cast member is in when they are at practice/games. SPAs will be standing in for as many We Not Me participants as possible until they come from We Not Me practice/games to rehearsal.
