This year we took 10 sophomores to Indianapolis for National Convention. We also had a student compete at nationals for his proficiency as well as our ag mechanics team!

Each year memebers of the West Lyon FFA sign up to work in the Old McDonald Farm at the Sioux Empire Fair. The students working watch over the barn and also interact with the kids that come in.

We traveled to districts last year to compete where a few of our competitors moved on to state.
State Convention

The students that have had their CDEs make it through the previous judging areas move on to state. Those who made it take a charter bus to Ames, IA where conferences are attended and their projects are judged once again to see if they can compete at the national level.
