2025 XC season 

Week 2 - August 25-31

1. Scrimmage race recap

   • a BIG thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for the scrimmage race at the Dirt Loop and also bringing the breakfast food

   • I will share statistical details about the finish times on Monday

2. Uniform distribution

   • the boys will be getting their official racing uniform and warmups (jacket & pants) on Tuesday

   • on race days, the boys need to wear either black pants or shorts for warmups

3. PTTiming Night Race

   • the boys race at 8:30pm on Thursday at Arrowhead HS

   • I will share more details via email by Tuesday

4. XC practice

   • daily practice = 3:20-5:45 pm

   • the boys will have regular practice this Friday

5. Labor Day practice

   • semi-mandatory practice from 9:00-10:30am

   • if you are in town with no morning family plans, you are expected to come to practice

6. Practice Kit

   • the boys need to purchase a "practice kit" of WiscoXC gear

   • cost = $30 cash to Coach Lueck

7. Running Shorts

   • I have some American Flag shorts and black shorts for sale

   • the boys will need real running shorts for workout days / no basketball shorts

   • cost = $10 cash

8. GoodR sunglasses

   • those that ordered need to bring $12 (blue) and $18 (red) cash 

9. Performance Half Tights

   • I have some black performance half tights for sale

   • cost = $10 cash

10. Team Pictures

    • date = Thursday, September 4 

11. Team Picnic

    • following the WAC Bulldog Invite on Friday, Sept 5

    • please bring the food to the team tent when you arrive

    • all runners are asked to bring something:

      • Freshmen:

12. Communication

    • for any issues - the runners should talk to the coaches first followed by a parent communication if necessary
