PRE-K  IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

In accordance with The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, N.J.A.C. 8:57-4, children attending a pre school must receive at least one dose of flu vaccine between September 1 and December 31 of each year.

 

Please send in documentation that your child has received this vaccine by December 31st of each year. Failure to receive the flu vaccine will necessitate exclusion from school from January 1st to March 31st.

SIXTH GRADE IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

Sixth Grade Immunization Requirements: 

The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services administrative rules requires two vaccines for school attendance for students entering Sixth Grade and/or 11 years of age. Every child born on or after January 1, 1997 shall receive one dose of a meningoccoccal containing vaccine such as Menactra and one dose of Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis).

These vaccines must be received by December 31st of the year that your child turns 11. Many of the children turn 11 in sixth grade.

Failure to comply with this requirement will necessitate exclusion from school.
