Sectional, Regional & State Officers

All trainers must be cleared through WJUSD in one of the following ways:

• CCTC Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate

• Fingerprint Clearance through CTSO

• Fingerprint Clearance through their current school district (if currently teaching)

• Fingerprint Clearance through WJUSD (our preferred process)

Submit district’s Volunteer Information/Clearance form

• All overnight trips must be cleared through the WJUSD Board of trips.

  • • See travel section for protocol

• When flying, the student is to be escorted to the gate by a parent or a WJUSD- cleared chaperone and met at the other airport by a WJUSD- cleared person.

  • • If the student is to transfer flights, special permission must be received from the parents in writing, prior to booking the flights.

    • While traveling on connecting flights, the student is to check-in with both the advisor and parent at the intermediate airport, both at arrival to that airport and departure from that airport

• Student is to room with other student officers of the same gender only while on CTSO officer business.

  • • At no time may the student room with an adult, non-student participant

• All drivers must submit appropriate vehicle insurance paperwork through WJUSD and must be at least 25 years old.
