Kristin Russell: President

My husband, Mike and I moved to Woodland from Missouri in 2011. Our son, Grant, is a busy 3 year old, and our daughter, Holly, is a 1st grader at Spring Lake Elementary School. My background is in accounting/taxes, but I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 5 years. I am so excited at the opportunity to give back to the school and community who have welcomed us with open arms!

Meaghan Sussman: Vice President

I am one of the mom's to Porter and Cooper Seguin. I have worked in higher education for almost 25 years. I am currently a Supervising Advisor for Undergraduate and Graduate Students in the UC Davis Mathematics department. No, I do not do math, I help other people do math. Prior to kids, my partner and I were on a quest to visit all the MLB baseball parks. We, as a family love to hike in nature, play sports and board games and reading stories of people fighting for social justice. What I love most about Spring Lake Elementary is its warm, inviting, collaborative community.

My husband and I both grew up in Woodland. We have two boys Hank and Andy (3rd/1st). We are so excited to be a part of the Spring Lake Community. I teach Leadership at Douglass Middle School - this is my 17th year. I have a master's degree in Educational Technology and I'm excited for all of the opportunities that our school has to offer! We love being Spring Lake Owls!
