Maya Garrett: President

I grew up in Woodland and my husband grew up in Galt. We have two children Sophia and Colin and spend most of our free time at their various events and activities. I work as a Grant Manager at the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy. I am excited to help contribute to Spring Lake Elementary and help continue to make it a great community for our children.

Aprille Adam-Jones: Vice President

Hi, I’m Aprille (April) I was born and raised in Fairfield. Where I met my husband who I have known since high school. We’ve been together for 17 years and married for 10. We moved to Woodland in 2021 and couldn’t be happier. We have 2 children enrolled in Spring Lake Elementary, a daughter in 3rd grade (Adelle) and a son in 2nd grade (EJ). We also have an adult daughter (Samara) who lives with us and works full time. Can’t wait to see all the fun this school year has in store!

Nathan Benedicto: Vice President

I grew up in Sacramento, where I developed a passion for volleyball. I pursued my higher education at UC Davis, earning a degree in Mathematics. Currently, I work in the College of Engineering at UC Davis as an IT Manager, supporting the research and teaching missions of the college. My family, including my wife and two children, all are at Spring Lake Elementary. I look forward to enriching the learning and community at our wonderful school.

Morgan Lardizabal: Secretary

Happy to be part of the Owl community! My husband and I both grew up in Woodland and are excited to raise our kids in the Spring Lake neighborhood. We have two girls, Avery and Taylor and plan to be part of the school for many years to come. I work as a Legislative Advocate for the Judicial Council of California and devote pretty much all my free time to kid activities while squeezing in reading, hiking, camping, and/or knitting.

Melissa Edsall: Treasurer

My husband and I both grew up in Woodland. We have two boys, Hank and Andy. We are so excited to be a part of the Spring Lake Community. I teach Leadership at Douglass Middle School - this is my 17th year. I have a master's degree in Educational Technology and I'm excited for all of the opportunities that our school has to offer! We love being Spring Lake Owls!
