Parent involvement in our Spring Lake Owls is what will make our school community great. Joining a committee is a great way to get involved with aspects of the PTO that may match your skill set. Hospitality Committee

Committee Lead: Kathy Wong, Amy Cho 

• Teacher/Staff gifts

• Organizes activities and gifts for appreciation weeks

• Outreach when there is a need in the community

• Welcome mid-year new families

Fundraising Committee 

Committee Lead: Maya Garrett

• Organizes and helps execute fundraising opportunities for the school

• Liases with principal and staff for presentation needs

• Works with treasurer for purchase of upfront fundraising costs, materials 

Communication and Public Relations Committee

Committee Lead & Members: Morgan Lardizabal, Ruby Asoro, Alfred Chan

• Oversees Facebook page and other social media

• Creates and updates bulletin board in the Spring Lake office

• Assists Vice President with newsletter 

• Works on upkeep of website content

• Composes and sends articles and photos to the local newspaper

• Works with Secretary on their needs

• Helps create and distribute flyers

• Helps set up email blasts

Spirit Wear and Merchandise Committee

Committee Lead: Tina Denena

• Responsible for overseeing all logo items design, sale, delivery and distribution for the school

• In charge of starting merchandise store and selecting items to sell

• Sets up order forms

• Sells merchandise at Back to School night and other school events

• Finds ways to promote and utilize spirit wear and school spirit
