Here you will find the season schedule. It can also be seen on our teams athletic.net page!
At the bottom there are buttons to take you to specific meets. There you can see course maps, race times, etc.
You earn points based on your position - 5th place is 5 points, 10th place is 10, etc.
A "team" score is the added total of the first 5 finishers. (If a team does not have 5 runners they are disqualified.)
The team with the lowest total wins the meet! The best score you can get is 15 (finishing 1st-5th place in a race).
Runners in 3rd, 4th, and 5th places for a team are often the runners who determine which team wins a meet.
If a team's 6th and 7th runners can finish before another team's 5th runner, they will "displace" them. For this reason a complete cross country team is considered to be 7 runners. Every person is important! If a team qualifies for postseason meet, 7 athletes get to attend.
