FLACS Exam - Spanish 1
The FLACS A Exam will be Monday, June 24, 2024
The FLACS Proficiency Exam consists of 4 different sections:
Presentational Speaking / Interpersonal Speaking
The speaking portions of the exam will be completed on 2 separate dates.
Presentational speaking: This will occur during students' regular Spanish class period. Students will be given a task related to a particular topic previously learned (i.e. family, chores, hobbies, health, sports, travel, personal identity, etc.). Then, students are given a few minutes to prepare notes, and then will record their response on Flip (formerly known as Flipgrid). Students are only given 1 task.
Interpersonal speaking: Students will be pulled out of one of their classes for a 10 minute period. In this time, the students will choose 2 separate tasks randomly related to different topics previously learned (i.e. family, chores, hobbies, health, sports, travel, personal identity, etc.). For this portion of the exam, students will speak one-on-one with their teacher to complete both tasks.
On the day of the exam, the students will complete the following sections:
