Back to School Letter

 Dear Parent(s) and Student:

         I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to Sixth Grade at Udall Road Middle School.  I am extremely excited and enthusiastic about the upcoming year.   This school year, I will be teaching ELA to my core students, as well as science to all the students on our team.  I will be working closely this year with Mrs. Canonico (Social Studies), Mrs. Carbone (Math), and Mr. Loudon.  I am are looking forward to meeting my future student on the first day of school and having him/her as part of our amazing TEAM!

         You will find a list of materials that your child will need in order to start off the new school year.  If you purchased materials from the list online, please just cross it off this one.  There is no need to duplicate materials.  I would greatly appreciate it if your child could have all of these items by the end of the first week of school, so we can smoothly transition as a class into the subject areas.  Thank you for your cooperation and I look forward to working with you this year! Organization in 6th grade is the key to success! The supplies listed below will help your child with organization. Some supplies may be repeated on each of our Google sites.  

There is NO NEED to purchase, the supplies multiple times for our team.

BASIC SUPPLIES:

Earbuds or headphones

#2 pencils (sharpened) or mechanical

Pair of scissors

2 glue sticks

Clicker Pen (Blue, Black, Red and Green)

1 box of colored pencils

24 pack of crayons

8 pack of thin markers

2 highlighters (different colors preferably)

2 packs of Post-It Notes

2 Black Sharpies (Thin and Thick)

Pencil Case
