Principle 2 - Flexibility in Use (Slideshow presentation during the workshop)
The slideshow presentation would allow students to read an overview of the content that is being discussed on each slide. The presentation would allow more of a visual and auditory feature to the workshop.
Principle 3 - Simple and Intuitive Use (Using physical workbooks)
Physical workbooks would allow students to easily understand important information from the workshop and put skills into action, regardless of their concentration level, experience or knowledge.
Principle 4 - Perceptible Information (Using the caption feature on Zoom for the panel discussion)
Using the caption feature on Zoom for the panel discussion portion of the workshop would allow information to be communicated effectively to students regardless of sensory abilities.
Principle 6 - Low Physical Effort (Open doors and comfortable/efficient seating)
The door to the reserved room in the University Union will be open so that students would not have to worry about pulling or pushing the door to open it with minimum fatigue. The room will be set up in an efficient and comfortable manner and accessible to individuals with a variety of physical characteristics.
Principle 7 - Size and Space for Approach and Use (Table and Chair space for each student)
There would be a table and chair reserved for each student. Two students would be placed at each table to ensure that they each have ample space and mobility. The chairs and table will also not be screwed to the flooring so that would provide additional mobility if necessary (the chair can be completely removed if a student is physically disabled so that the student would not have to get out of their wheelchair).
