COLLABORATION WITH PARENTS OR COMMUNITY PARTNERS
In collaboration with the school principal, counseling team, parent specialist, and senior English teachers, Weslaco East High School hosted a Senior Parent Meeting to share key information on academics, CCMR, and senior events. Through coordinated communication and outreach, the event achieved a record turnout of 238 families, representing 51% of the senior class. This collaborative effort strengthened family engagement, ensured consistent messaging across campus teams, and empowered parents with the knowledge and resources to support their student’s successful transition beyond high school.
