To join NHS, there is a candidacy process students must go through. First, students must be selected to apply based on their GPA. Next, a Candidacy Information Form muse be completed, which includes community service, activities, recommendations, and a student essay non character. This is then reviewed by a faculty council, and successful candidates are inducted at a special ceremony. NHS members must abide by the Winthrop Chapter Constitution.
