Throughout my time in college, I have grown tremendously as a writer and producer of information. I am now able to effectively present facts in a way that is concise, taking into consideration the tone, intention, and structure of the information I write. One skill I have developed is adaptability. Being able to adjust my writing style so that it suits certain audiences and to be more observant of different perspectives and expectations plays a major role in what I do. Another strength of mine is clarity and vocabulary. I can accurately express my thoughts and messages in an understandable way while using appropriate wording.
Other skills I have developed include research accuracy, attention to detail, and storytelling. I plan to apply these communication skills to target specific audiences with purpose and strategy. When communicating with a professional audience, I will use formal and structured language and guarantee that my sources are credible. If I am addressing a younger audience, I will simplify terms and use relatable illustrations. In the digital realm, I will concentrate on visual appeal and make sure that the material quickly captivates attention.
