Our Prototype
The issue of food availability to the homeless is a big problem for the people of Los Angeles. Our project joins together with Grass Roots Neighbors to help them get more volunteers to support the food efforts for the community. When we met with them they said a big issue is the fact that they can’t get enough volunteers to help deliver the food so we have come up with a solution to help them. We started by figuring out if Grass Roots Neighbors would be willing to partner with us and then we g to set up a time that we could meet. Once we met with them we understood the problem ahead and started to develop a prototype. The prototype is a website update and sign up sheet so we can help GRN get more volunteers. We are helping them redesign their website and we are going to help them have more advertising so they can get more volunteers.
Our Original Timeline
We made a preliminary timeline of the milestones and steps we want to reach based on dates. However, like all projects, we had to make some changes on the fly. Grass Roots neighbors didn't get back to us until the day before the project was due, but thankfully, we were able to get our product to them in time.
