When our group was researching a topic. we didn't know where to start. Eventually, we started watching videos of people with dwarfism. When we saw what they have to go through in their daily lives. We believed that we could help them. We started investigating to see what they need help with. Then, we came up with the idea of a grocery grabber. Our grocery grabber allows people with short stature to reach objects that are higher than them, so they don't need to climb up to get food, or ask for help. This will be a very helpful tool when grocery shopping at a store.

I was interested in the topic of short stature because I have seen people's struggle of reaching high objects. Whenever I see someone struggling with this, I try to help. But if nobody is available to help them, they need to be able to reach their necessary items. Our grabber will improve this issue and help them. My hope is that if someone has short staure and is having trouble reaching a high object, our grocery grabber will do the job for them.

When we had to watch a bunch of CBL Ted Talks, I came across one that instantly caught my attention, it was about people with short stature. I was shocked to see how hard it was in their every day life to do normal things. For example, reaching high objects. Our prototype would be a grabber that is designed to grab higher objects, specifically food in a grocery store. I think this would help poeple of short stature and would be used by many.
