Are you considering a career in the military?

We encourage you to research the various options, and look at which one meets YOUR goals and needs the best in terms of benefits, length of service, commitment requirements, available job/career options, available bonuses, start dates, etc. Talk to not only recruiters but others within the branches you are considering, if at all possible, to be sure you have a full understanding of your commitment. At the very least - look at YouTube. There are so many videos out there on things like "what I wish I knew before I joined the military". While you need to take things with a grain of salt, it can still can give you some things to think about. And remember, don't say YES until you find something that is the right fit for you.

Full-time Enlistment Options: Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard

Other Options: National Guard, Reserves, ROTC. 

Many of our graduates who join the National Guard will attend college - for free! - while they serve their country. ROTC is offered at colleges throughout the country and involves a post-college commitment to join the military as an officer. 

The ASVAB is required to enlist in any of the military branches. I recommend that you prepare for the ASVAB - just like you would if you were taking the SAT's! While there is a minimum overall AFQT score required to enlist, scores and line scores (section scores) are part of what determines what jobs (and bonuses) are available to you.
