JOB SHADOW FORM- Fill this out and return to the counselor's office.
Tutoring/Aiding- In the fall, you will be assigned to A+ tutoring with a teacher when we return in the fall. Infinite Campus tracks your hours and you cannot miss more than 7 times in that hour to achieve the 50 required hours.
Summer school A+ tutoring/aiding- If you would like to get hours out of the way during summer school, please email Mr. Scheper for placement or if you want to tutor at an elementary, IC, or middle email the teacher and set up a summer schedule. To track summer hours, please email Mrs. Scott rscott@windsorc1.com for the electronic A+ hour tracking form.
University Bound A+ Seniors,
You may use your A+ tuition incentives the summer after you graduate. Here are the steps to utilize this money:
Apply to the community college.
File last year's/current FAFSA fafsa.ed.gov and list the community college you plan on attending in the summer.
Speak with your university advisor on what classes would count towards your degree plan.
Register for summer classes.
To be eligible for assistance you must meet the following requirements:
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Enter into a written agreement with your high school prior to graduation.
Attend a designated A+ high school for 2 years prior to graduation.1
Graduate from an A+ designated high school with an overall unweighted grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Have at least a 95% attendance record overall for grades 9-12.
Perform at least 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring, of which up to 25% may include job shadowing prior to graduation. 2
Maintain a record of good citizenship and avoid the unlawful use of drugs and/or alcohol while in grades 9-12.
Have achieved a score of proficient or advanced on the Algebra I end of course exam or a higher level DESE approved end-of-course exam in the field of mathematics.3

2.8=ACT Math 16
3.0=ACT Math 15
****A student can take the ACT as many times as needed to achieve his/her qualifying score for A+.
