Wilton High School Model Congress students attended the third annual Darien High School Model Congress this weekend. Students engaged in heated debate on redistricting Connecticut school districts and various other topics that are currently impacting the people of this great nation. Trumbull MCC 2019

The Wilton High School Model Congress attended the annual Trumbull High School Model Congress Conference. Trumbull MCC is the second high school conference each year on the Nutmeg League MCC schedule. The Nutmeg League includes students from Christian Heritage, Darien, New Canaan, Trumbull, and Wilton High Schools. Twenty-two Wilton MCC students attended the one day day conference.
Seven of the eighteen Wilton students were awarded this year for their distinguished performance in committee and full sessions. The Best Legislation Award was given to students with the best written bills in their committee, the Honorable Mention recognized the top runners-up, the Best Delegate Award was given to the best performing delegate in each committee, and the Outstanding Delegate Award was given to the top speakers in each full session.

Yale Model Congress 2018

The Wilton High School Model Congress attended the annual Yale Model Congress Conference in New Haven CT. The conference took place over four days. Sixteen students participated over the four day simulation. Over 750 students from across the northeast attended the conference.
