Students' guardians are responsible for all costs associated with participating in The Collegiate Academy, and must submit a completed notarized financial agreement to participate in The Collegiate Academy.

When The Collegiate Academy students take Advanced Placement and Local Dual Credit courses or courses with an Industry Certification, they must take the culminating exam at the end of each of these classes. These culminating exams have an associated cost for which the student is responsible. Typically the costs for these exams are less than $100 per exam.

The cost of each college course via Volunteer State Community College is currently $500. This $500 does not include the cost of textbooks or other needed course materials or fees.

Rising 11th and 12th grade students may be eligible for the Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant to reduce costs of college courses. Students must apply for the Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant by the fall deadline (September 15) to be eligible. If 11th and 12th grade students are awarded the Dual Enrollment Grant, students will receive the below distribution of grant funds:

A student may receive funding for one (1) course per semester. To receive funding for two (2) additional courses per semester, the student must meet the minimum HOPE Scholarship academic requirements at the time of dual enrollment. Students who receive the Dual Enrollment Grant amount for more than four (4) dual enrollment courses over the junior and senior years will have the amount reduced from their Tennessee HOPE Scholarship on a dollar for dollar basis.

Rising 11th and 12th graders who enroll full time (12 hours) in Volunteer State Community College may be eligible for the Middle College Scholarship for $1,000 per semester. (This would require students to take some classes online or at Volunteer State Community College's campus in addition to the courses offered at Green Hill High School. )
