T-Level Media, Broadcast and Production
What will you learn?
This is a two year course equivalent to THREE A level qualifications. It combines core academic learning with a focus on a specific occupational area. The core component has 2 elements: a Core exam and an Employer Set Project.
Students will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector, including:
The creative economy
The individual in the creative industries
Cultural context and vocabulary
Audience
Legislation/regulation
Professionalism and ethics
Equality, diversity and inclusion
Research skills
Project methodology and administration
Continued professional development
You will also be taught media production techniques and work with the school to develop your own personal preferences.
Specialisms:
In addition to the core content, each student will also complete at least one module of occupation-specific content.

For your induction session, please work your way through the tasks below. This will then enable you to complete the Summer Project (also below) which will be used by your teachers as their first form of assessment in September.
