Señora de Kock was born in Canada but comes from a multicultural and multilingual family. She grew up speaking English, French, and Spanish at home. She went to McGill University and DePaul University and has taught both French and Spanish in North Shore area schools. She lives in Northbrook with her husband, Warwick, and her 2 daughters. She enjoys working out, tennis, hiking, concerts, travelling, good food, and spending time with her family.
Monica Brown has been an educator for over 20 years, with 18 of those spent teaching in Wilmette. She has taught kindergarten, second grade, Spanish, and supported multi-language learners. Monica earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University. She is passionate about creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, playing pickleball, exercising, and spending time with her family.
Beth Cummo has worked at Harper for the las 11 years and in education for over 25 years. Before comeing to Harper she worked at Wilmette Junior High as their 8th grade tech integration specialist and McKenzie Elementary as their technology teacher. She has her undergrad in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Instructional technology. Her favorite thing to do when not at Harper is travel with her two kids and husband or read a book with her dog, Arlo, at her side.
This will be Mr. Theodorakakis 10 th year at Harper. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Science at North Park University and Masters Degree in Technology and Leadership from Concordia University. His passion lies in helping students minds discover the joys and benefits of physical activity. Promoting strong, healthy bodies to creating unforgettable moments of fun and teamwork, He is devoted to nurturing a love for exercise in our students.
This will be Ms. T’s 6th year at Harper. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Art Education from Northern Illinois University. She taught art in Myanmar and South Korea before joining Harper. Over the summer, Ms. T traveled throughout Asia with her twin sister, visiting Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. In her free time, she enjoys creating her own artwork, reading, camping, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to reconnect with students this fall and looks forward to creating and exploring art together in the classroom!
Mrs. Lambros holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. She is in her 32nd year of teaching and has spent the past 28years at Harper Elementary, where she serves as the general music teacher and chorus director.
Before joining Harper, Mrs. Lambros taught elementary music in upstate New York, as well as middle and high school music in Pennsylvania. Outside the classroom, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
I live in Arlington Heights with my wife Katie and dog Ivy. This is my 11th year teaching, 3rd at Harper and all in the Chicagoland Area. I went to undergrad at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse where I studied Physical Education, wrestled and went fishing at every opportunity. My family lives in the area and we get together often. I am always available to talk fishing, hunting or sports, but will need picture verification for those "fishy stories"
This is Mrs. Pinney's 28th year at Harper School, and her 30th year teaching! She received her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Butler University, her master's degree from the University of Illinois, and her library science certification from National Louis University. In her free time, she love spending time with family and friend, playing golf & tennis, and, of course, READING.
