Yes, Northern Arizona University is a public, 4 year University located in Flagstaff, AZ. We have about 21,000 students at our Flagstaff campus and about 31,000 students total across all statewide locations and online students. We offer about 100 different undergraduate programs, and many graduate programs as well!
For tuition and cost, it does depend on where students live. For students in certain western states, we have a discounted tuition rate through the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE). This tuition rate is about 40% less than the non-resident rate at $15,975 per year. For true non-resident students, the current tuition rate is $25,396 per year. Merit-based scholarships do differ based on where students live as well, and more information can be found in the scholarship link above. "1. The UC GPA that we use is a weighted GPA from sophomore and junior year courses. We weight the GPA to give you extra credit in AP, IB or college coursework. A self-reported 4.17 average GPA was reported. I should share that we admit students from 3.4 - 4.4 weighted GPA's! GPA is only a part of the holistic review.
2. Merit scholarships are are going to be open to all US residents, regardless of where they reside (in state or out of state). We will NOT be using testing in the 2021 application review and in the merit scholarship review.

"Pitt has gone test-optional for the fall 2021 term for most programs. This gives students the choice to include or not include SAT or ACT scores. If they choose not to include them, we highly recommend submitting other supplemental materials to strengthen their application such as a letter of recommendation. We operate on rolling admissions, meaning we are always reviewing and accepting new students. The earlier a student applies, the better their chances are to secure a spot in the Pitt family! We have also created application tips to better support your students. "

Minnesota has agreements with neighboring states to provide lower tuition for Minnesota residents to attend public colleges and universities in those states. This is called reciprocity. Typically, non-resident admission fees and tuition are reduced (or eliminated) if you're a reciprocity student.
Minnesota has reciprocity agreements with Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota. It also has an agreement with the Canadian province of Manitoba, and a limited agreement with Iowa Lakes Community College in northwestern Iowa.
