Library cards are free to residents of Erie County and can be used at any of the 37 libraries and the Library on Wheels Bookmobile. Student digital cards are now available.

All NYS residents aged 13 and up can apply for a New York City library card!  You can use it for ebooks, access to NYC public library databases and more!

Brooklyn Public Library's card is free for anyone who lives, works, pays property taxes or goes to school in New York state. There is a limit of one library card per person.
