Learn how to use Scratch programming to make animations that demonstrate a wide variety of examples of different types of figurative language (Simile, Metaphor, Hyperbole, Personification, Idioms) Your students will be able to create animations using their own ideas.

Learn how to create curriculum projects that will literally add lights, sound, and more to student products. You will learn the basics of circuits and have fun using products like Squishy Circuits, Makey-Makey's, Makerbits, Crazy Circuits and Paper Circuits. Participants will make example products for their classrooms in order to apply this to their curriculum.
