Collage Animals

Inspired by artist Clare Youngs

For my first lesson I will be teaching you how to create a fun animal using collage. I have chosen to demonstrate this lesson, because it is not only FUN, but you can use materials from your recycling bin to create your artwork.

This lesson may take more than one day to create and that is OKAY. Remember, we always value our best work over the quantity of work we create.

As always, you do not have to make an animal just like mine. You have artistic freedom! Experiment with different animals, shapes, and papers. I can't wait to see what you create!

After many technology issues, I am finally able to bring you a lesson inspired by Clare Youngs. My example is a giraffe, but you can create any animal that you would like using geometric shapes. Have fun and be creative!
