MESSAGE FROM ALUMNI FUND CO-CHAIRS
Hello Williams Agent Community!
We’re excited to launch the 2025–2026 Alumni Fund, running from October 1 through our March 15 Trophy Race! Together, our goals are bold: raise $14.5 million from over 12,700 generous alumni (43.25% participation).
Whether you are a new or longtime Head Agent or Associate Agent, thank you. Your energy, persistence, and dedication are the reason the Alumni Fund is so successful—and why Williams consistently ranks at the very top for alumni participation among our peers.
This year, we are thrilled to bring our efforts into alignment with the theme of "On the Log", which celebrates what makes Williams truly special: close, personal, face-to-face moments that shape us long after graduation. Inspired by the timeless image of Mark Hopkins on one end of a log and a student on the other, this initiative reminds us that the immersive classes, one-on-one mentorship, shared spaces, and vibrant community that define Williams are sustained by the Alumni Fund.
Every gift—no matter the size—helps keep the log strong for every student, every day. In a moment when human connection in education matters more than ever, your participation is powerful.
To bring this theme to life, we’re encouraging you to share On the Log themed messages with classmates to spark memories, connections, and participation, including:
“Who’s on Your Log?” Challenge – Classmates can make gifts in honor of the professor, coach, teammate, dining hall staffer, or friend who sat on the log with them.
$18.56 Challenge – Classmates can give in honor of President Garfield’s class year, sustaining the one-on-one, face-to-face learning Williams is known for.
Share who was on your own log! – Let classmates know who stood out in your own Williams experience (maybe with a photo of you sitting on a log!), asking them to join you on the other end through a gift to the Alumni Fund.
We can’t wait to see what this year brings, and with your help, we’ll meet—and exceed—our goals.
Go Ephs!
