My First International Flight
My First International Flight
My first time flying abroad was an experience I'll never forget. Last spring, I traveled to Tokyo, Japan, to visit a friend. I had always dreamed of visiting the country, and the trip was finally a reality.
The night before my flight, I was so excited I could barely sleep. I double-checked my passport, tickets, and luggage three times. My parents drove me to the airport early in the morning. The check-in process was smooth, but going through security felt a bit nerve-wracking. Luckily, I got through without any issues.
The flight itself was long, about 10 hours. I tried to sleep, but the excitement kept me awake. I watched a couple of movies and listened to music. The flight attendants were very kind and kept us comfortable. When we finally landed at Narita International Airport, I felt a mix of relief and pure joy.
Navigating the airport was a little challenging, as I wasn't used to the signs and announcements in Japanese. However, I managed to find my way to the train station. My friend, Kenji, was waiting for me at the train platform in central Tokyo. Seeing a familiar face in a completely new country was a wonderful feeling.
Over the next week, we explored the city. We visited famous places like the bustling Shibuya Crossing, the peaceful Meiji Jingu Shrine, and the beautiful Imperial Palace. The food was incredible—from delicious ramen to fresh sushi. I even tried street food like takoyaki and mochi.
My trip to Tokyo was a fantastic adventure. It was a new experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me so much about a different culture. I left Japan with a heart full of memories and a desire to travel more.

Past adalah kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk menunjukkan waktu yang telah lampau atau berlalu. Past secara garis besar terbagi pada 4 bagian sebagai berikut.
SIMPLE PAST TENSE
Pengertian
Past tense merupakan kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk menunjukkan suatu pekerjaan atau tindakan yang telah berlalu atau yang terjadi di masa lampau. Karena itu, kalimat Past harus diikuti dengan keterangan kata lampau. Bisa yang telah terjadi kemarin, setahun yang lalu, sebulan yang lalu, dll.
Rumus Past Tense
Positif (+) : S + V2 + O/C
Negatif (- ) : S + Did + Not + V1 + O/C
Interrogative (?) : Did + S + V1 + O/C + ?
Contoh Past Tense
(+) He swam in the river yesterday
(- ) He did not swim in the river yesterday
(?) Did he swim in the river yesterday?
Artinya
(+) Dia berenang di sungai kemarin
(-) Dia tidak berenang di sungai kemarin
(?) Apakah dia berenang di sungai kemarin?
SIMPLE PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE
Pengertian
Past continuous tense merupakan kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk menyatakan suatu pekerjaan atau tindakan yang sedang berlangsung di masa lalu atau lampau. Biasanya kalimat past continuous disandingkan dengan kalimat past tense.
Rumus Past Continuous Tense
Positif (+) : S + Tobe (was/were) + Ving + O/C
Negatif (- ) : S + Tobe (was/were) + Not + Ving + O/C
Interrogative (?) : Tobe (was/were) + S + Ving + O/C + ?
Contoh Past Continuous Tense
(+) They were playing Tennis yesterday
(- ) They were not playing Tennis yesterday
(?) Were they playing Tennis yesterday?
Artinya
(+) Mereka sedang bermain tenis kemarin
(-) Mereka sedang tidak bermain tenis kemarin

SIMPLE PAST PERFECT TENSE
Pengertian
Past perfect tense merupakan kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk menunjukkan pekerjaan atau tindakan yang telah selesai dilakukan pada masa lalu atau lampau.biasanya kalimat past perfect tense disandingkan dengan kalimat past tense atau dengan kalimat past future perfect tense dalam formula Conditional Type 3.
Rumus Past Perfect Tense
Positif (+) : S + Have/Has + V3 + O/C
Negatif (- ) : S + Have/Has + Not + V3 + O/C
Interrogative (?) : Have/Has + S + V3 + O/C + ?
Contoh Past Perfect Tense
(+) You have come to my party last night
(- ) You have not come to my party last night
(?) Have you come to my party last night ?
Artinya
(+) Kamu telah datang ke pestaku semalam
(-) Kamu telah tidak datang ke pestaku semalam

Past perfect contiuous tense merupakan kata kerja yang berfungsi untuk menyatakan suatu kejadian atau tindakan yang telah dilakukan namun masih atau sedang dikerjakan pada masa lalu atau lampau.
Rumus Past Perfect Continuous Tense
Positif (+) : S + Had + Been + Ving + O/C
Negatif (-) : S + Had+ Not + Been + Ving + O/C
Interrogative (?) : Had + S + Been + Ving + O/C + ?
Contoh Past Perfect Continuous Tense
(+) He had been writing a letter
(-) He had not been writing a letter
