MYP Program

The Middle Years Program is offered in grades 6-8 through Washtenaw International Middle Academy and in grades 9-10 at Washtenaw International High School. Both programs are housed in the same building under our MYP Coordinator and Associate Principal, Ms. Jessica Garcia. We use the state of Michigan standards to deliver World Studies in grades 6, 7 & 9 and American Studies in grades 8 & 10. We are proud that our program focuses on the voices of the marginalized in history, to finally give voice to those who have been silenced so often in the past.
