Tamariki have been learning about what defines 'culture' and how people are connected in different ways. Lucas F. made a great comment that, "Your culture is you". We have been talking about all the parts of our daily lives that we share with otheres - our family, friends, groups we're a part of and larger groups like school, sports groups and countries.

Your child has some questions about culture to share with you. When you have a moment, please choose 3 (unless they would like to do them all!) to bring back to school this week (by Friday would be great).

The tamariki are really interested in food and celebrations.
