Minecraft

Minecraft meets on Thursdays, when there is a late bus, from 3-4 pm
(We often switch our day 1/2 way through the year.)

There is a late bus that leaves Sedgwick at 4:00 pm. 

Please signup in the library in advance EACH WEEK to secure a seat!

All students must sign the Standards EACH WEEK in order to play. 

Minecraft Club at Sedgwick is a chance for people to get together to play Minecraft. Every student plays with a school MinecraftEDU account. Students have the choice between playing on a survival server or our creative server. On both servers, we treat each other respectfully and create a culture of collaboration and cooperation. If a student cannot follow these basic guidelines, they will not be allowed to play.

There are currently 24 seats available EACH WEEK. Sign up ahead of time in the library each week to reserve a seat! The first few weeks are very chaotic with lots of kids showing up, but after that, it settles down!

Unfortunately, students cannot access the Sedgwick Server from home. However, the public library has a Minecraft Server. See below.

Grades 6-12: Join us on the West Hartford Libraries Minecraft server and play with other Minecraft enthusiasts IRL! Participants should bring their own laptops if possible, but there are 6 teen computers available for use. Players should already be whitelisted or fill out a registration form on the day of the meetup to join the server.Please sign up by calling the teen room at 860-561-6996.
