We want to build a community of lifelong readers. Sometimes, we will be reading a long text together. But many other times we will be working on shorter texts and I will expect you to be choosing your own books. While you can always order books for delivery on Amazon or other book store sites, that is not the only way to access texts and it's not necessary to purchase your books. You can make use of the school and public library to pick up hard copies or download ebooks and audiobooks using these links:
How do you know what to read next? It takes some practice to be able to choose a gripping novel from a pile of duds (although one reader's dud is another reader's fave!). I myself have spent years finding my favorite authors and genres and learning what sites and blogs tend to align with my tastes (epic multi-generational family dramas YES!- horror vampire stories NO WAY!).
