In this block, pupils will learn that music evokes different emotions. They will discuss their own musical preferences and use musical vocabulary to describe how a piece of music makes them feel. Pupils will explore how movement and music are linked and begin to learn some different music genres, recognising that music has changed over time. Pupils will plan and rehearse a song with accompanying movements and perform to an audience.
