Ciarra Motes

Hello! My name is Ciarra Motes and I am the McKinney-Vento Liaison for White County School System, serving all schools in the district. My role is to connect students and their families that are classified as homeless to resources and ensure that children receive equal rights to a proper education . I am a 2015 graduate of White County High School (Go Warriors!!) and received my Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from the University of North Georgia. After completing my bachelor’s degree I worked as a Child Protective Services Investigator and Foster Care Case Manager with the Division of Family and Children's Services. I also serve on the Board of Directors for Ardenti Global Service Learning and have a passion for working to end homelessness as well as serving children who have experienced child abuse and/or neglect. I am actively working on my Master's in Social Work at the University of Georgia and plan to continue to grow my educational experiences later down the road.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and three dogs as well as traveling to new destinations.
