Effective July 1, 2012, homeschool Declaration of Intents are now submitted to the Department of Education (GaDOE).

The GaDOE web-based system is located on GaDOE’s home school webpage. To find the home school webpage, go to the GaDOE webpage at http://www.gadoe.org. After you open the GaDOE webpage, scroll down to the “Parents” section and choose the “Home Schools” link. You can also find the home school webpage using the search engine at the top-right corner of your screen. Simply search for “home school” and it will direct you to the home school webpage. Additional information about home schooling and how to submit home school documentation is available on the home school webpage.

For parents/guardians who do not wish to utilize the web-based system, the GaDOE will also provide for the paper submittal of home school documentation. Parents/guardians may submit their home school documentation via mail or fax to the GaDOE at the contact information below:
