Student Instructions for SY2021-22 Elective Course Selection

February 24 - March 12

1. Communicate with counselor or current teacher if you will not be attending Wheeler Middle School next school year.

2. Please look over the SY 2021 - 2022 Elective Course Descriptions (Top right corner) and read about the courses offered before making your selection.

3. Complete the appropriate SY2021-22 Grade Level Google Form to prioritize your elective choices.

This form will only allow students to make their Elective Choices. Students will be scheduled in Math, English, Social Studies, Science, and the four Exploratory Wheel Classes.

• The following class is available to be selected, however the course teacher will reach out to the student to complete an application and Interview. If an application is not completed by the date indicated on the form, the next elective will be chosen in its place.

4. A summary of Elective Courses selected will be emailed to the student and / or parent for confirmation.

5. Schedule changes: Elective changes will only be made for the following reasons: scheduling error, misplaced in ability level, or medical waiver. Schedule changes for elective classes shall occur within the first 2 weeks of the semester.
