Struggling to Breathe

My show is a representation of the struggles of being in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic. It focuses on themes of being claustrophobic, terrified and slowly losing hope. The goal of the following photographs is to connect with the viewer and express my feelings during this unorthodox time.

The unforeseen difficulties presented by the pandemic forced me to change my senior show. At first I was dismayed by the change but then chose to accept it and showcase the challenges of a quarantine. I wanted to capture myself in these difficult times so I had my dad photograph me while I directed the angles and locations. Hopefully the show is able to convey the sense of isolation and fear we can all somewhat relate to.
