Block Print on paper - 12"x 8"

This series is site specific to our very own Wheeler Farm. The image is of a ladder rendered useless, suspended between two trees. This serves as a way to connect them, but also is pointless in some ways: a bridge to nowhere. Printmaking allowed me to explore this image with different colors, backgrounds, and textures. Some of the versions are printed on paper and some on four wooden panels. The final piece in this series, branch shadows, is printed onto a longer wooden panel using my roller to pick up and then lay down the image in a repeating pattern.
