If your tamaiti / child is going to be absent, please either ring the kura on 06 342 6703 or text the office on 027 380 4413.
Thanks to Sanitarium and Fonterra, each morning we are able to hold a Breakfast Club for our tamariki. We also participate in the Ka Ora Ka Ako - Lunch in Schools programme. Tamariki are able to opt into receiving a school lunch. A flexi-menu is set and changes termly. Any dietary requirements can be catered for.
We are proud participants of the Duffy Books in Schools programme. Each tamaiti receives a book every term. This is a wonderful way to promote the love of reading. We also have several author and role model visits throughout the year and the fabulous Duffy Theatre show that we attend.
Our kura is part of the Donation Scheme, which means that we do not ask for school fees / donations, except for our bi-annual School Camp.
