This artifact is an ELA lesson plan that I used in my Demonstration teaching. This artifact demonstrates my competency in educational technology use in the classroom, as it shows that students were shown a video on creating mental images when reading.This artifact had an effect on student learning by allowing students to see an anchor chart, and hear the thought process when creating mental images in reading. Based on this artifact’s effect on student learning, I would modify the artifact to include an example for students to practice creating their own mental images for future use.
