Do not use calculators or other external resources on assessments in ALEKS PPL.

Why? If you use resources on your initial assessment, ALEKS PPL will not provide you with all of the learning modules that you actually need. This means that you will not have the opportunity to review the concepts that you need to. 

Students who use resources on their initial assessment OFTEN SCORE LOW ON SUBSEQUENT ASSESSMENTS.

Also, your score does not determine your placement in a course. It simply provides you with the resources you need to succeed and helps us advise you on the best pathway for your first year at Wake Forest.
