Hi and welcome to fourth grade! I am so happy to be working with all of you again. Here is a paper copy of the magnetic tile board we use in class for word work. I am also sending home a hard copy for you to use. You will also see the "extra" tiles page. This is to use for when we work with digraphs (yellow), vowel teams (pink), welded sounds (all, am, an, etc...) and suffix (long yellow). I will send home two copies of this page with students who are in school, and I will mail a copy home to those who are attending online. You will need to color them in: 5 digraphs (wh, ch, sh, th, ck--please label these) one plain yellow to represent the extra z, and one extra for the letters f, l, s (please label the f, l, and s extra tiles). You will need four green (all, am, an-labeled and one blank green) and 4 pink to start (labeled ai, ay, oi, oy). Please cut the large bright yellow and large white into four rectangles. These are for our suffix tiles. You can label the suffix (s, es, ed, ing, y). As we move on I will send more pages home.
