DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS A CRIME! IT AFFECTS LIVES! IT AFFECTS FAMILLIES!
Let’s use love to stamp out abuse!
At WFRC, we are very passionate about revisiting the word ‘LOVE’. Every day, we see the devastating impact that this hideous crime of domestic violence has on the lives of everyone involved.
Each year, an ever-increasing number of men, women and their families are participating in an annual Walk & family fun day in Wolverhampton to raise awareness on domestic violence and educate families to cultivate habits of showing and sharing love.
The ‘Everyone for Love’ initiative uses love to stamp out all forms of violence by educating and supporting families to choose to love instead of abuse.
The cutting of the ribbon by a man, woman and child symbolises the importance of Men, Women & Children coming together to combat domestic violence, to say “No to Abuse” and “Yes to Love”.
We seek to encourage local residents to pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about domestic violence. To bring communities to the forefront of dialogue, so they can alter social consciousness and change their actions.
This initiative helps people to gain a sense of self-worth and respect, to love and care for themselves, their spouse or partner, their family and their community.

“DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS A REAL EPIDEMIC THAT MUST BE STOPPED!”
We help families to find ways of dealing with conflict and minimising tension within the family through one to one sessions, workshops and community events.
Year in and Year out, all families attending this event are urged to make a conscious decision to cultivate habits of showing love and respect within their relationships, to say No to abuse, to not be passive bystanders in the face of abuse and to take steps to seek support as soon as it is needed.
We are calling for a community that:
Says no to violence and abuse
Does not tolerate abuse
Holds offenders accountable
Promotes justice
Provides adequate support, resources and opportunities for all victims.
