Digital Citizenship

Digital Citizenship encompasses a variety of areas and is all about making safe choices and behaving ethically when it comes to technology, just as we would in face-to-face situations and relationships. We believe that technology is a tool and being a good digital citizen is just being a good citizen. That means incorporating these concepts into the work students are doing every day, such as citing sources, learning how to appropriately comment and provide feedback online, and keeping passwords secure. As we work to weave these concepts into all classes, we also include other opportunities for students to learn. While we can't possibly cover every situation a student may encounter, we aim to teach students how to analyze, create, and interact safely with technology in authentic ways. Below is a sampling of where and how we work to incorporate digital citizenship into your student's experience.
