What is the cost for K-8 CLASS?

There is NO cost for CLASS. CLASS is a grant-funded program available to Wethersfield Public School students/families.

Who can participate in CLASS?

Any child currently registered as a student in the Wethersfield Public Schools.

Will every course run?

Courses will run as long as there are at least 5 students enrolled. Therefore some courses may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.

When I have registered for a course for my child does that mean my child is guaranteed enrollment ?

Completion of the registration form does not guarantee participation as enrollment is on a first-come, first serve basis. If your child is officially enrolled, you will receive an email confirmation, along with additional program details from the Program Coordinator and/or your child's CLASS teacher.

Where are courses taught?

Courses will be held at either Emerson WIlliams Elementary School, Silas Deane Middle School, Wethersfield High School. A limited number will be offered remotely. Please see the course catalog for specific course location.

Who will be teaching courses ?

Courses are taught by Wethersfield Public Schools staff members . Mad Science and Summer Chess Camp are taught by outside contractors that are also used by Wethersfield Park and Recreation.
