Band Night 2024

2025 BAND NIGHT

Hello Band Students and Families!

     My name is Michael Bowles, and I am the Band Director at Wethersfield High School! I

am very excited to invite you to BAND NIGHT at the Wethersfield High School Home Football Game on Friday, October 17th! Attending band students will get to play with the WHS Eagle Marching Band both on the field and in the stands for the National Anthem, pep tunes, and will have VIP field-side viewing for the halftime show!

     Participating students must attend rehearsal on Wednesday, October 15th, from 6:00-7:00 pm to participate in the Friday night game.

     Students who participate will be treated to a Pizza Dinner on Friday provided by the WHS Band Boosters, and will get free admission to the football game! If you are interested in participating in this fantastic event please go to: www.wethersfieldmusic.com and click on the Band Night tab on the home page to register. 

     Participating students will need to bring their own instruments. (Percussion instruments will be provided) If you need assistance with your instrument, please email Mr. Bowles. 

Parents attending the game will still have to pay the standard admission price.

October 15th: Rehearsal

6:00 PM - Students arrive at the WHS Band Room (via Jay St. Entrance) Parents please check your child in with  the WPS Staff prior to leaving.

6:10 - Move to the field to rehearse with the WHS Eagle Marching Band

6:15 - Music Rehearsal

6:30 - Field Rehearsal

6:50 - pack up & return to Band Room

7:00 pm Parent pick up from the Band Room

October 17th: Band Night

4:45 PM - Students Arrive at WHS Band Room & Meet Their Sections

(use Jay St. entrance to WHS - band room doors are near the pool entrance)

5:00 PM - Move to the Stadium

5:15 PM - Rehearsal with the WHS Eagle Marching Band

6:50 PM - PRE GAME PERFORMANCE

7:00 - Move to the stands to play during the game

Approx 8:00 PM - Enjoy the Marching Band’s Halftime Performance!

Approx 8:20 PM - All participants move to Choir Room for Pizza (next to band room)

Approx 9:00 PM - Student Sign Out from WHS Choir Room (pool side Jay street entrance)
