This year, Kindergarteners will learn how to:

  • identify beginning sounds, ending sounds and middle sounds

  • hold a pencil and write letters in the correct formation

  • recognize and write sight words

  • read and write CVC words, and phonetically spell other trickier words.

  • read and write simple sentences.

This is a copy of the letter cards we use at school. Students use these pictures, and echo "A apple /a/, B bat /b/, C cat /c/" Print and use this at home to practice!
